Description
Ritz Plastics Inc. is looking for a part-time/occasional driver.


Responsibilities include:


  • Accurate and timely deliveries to and from customers and suppliers.
  • Maintain logs and records to meet the company and government regulations.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage.
  • Complete and maintain any required load documentation. Loading/Unloading of delivery vehicle.
  • Participating in training/cross training.
  • Safe operation of lift trucks including refueling.
  • Accurate completion of all records.
  • Delivery vehicle care, as required.
  • Organization and arrangement of the storage area.
  • Interaction with customer and supplier staff.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge:


  • Valid DZ or other licence as required with good driving record and ability to be insured without additional expense
  • Minimum 23 years' experience operating a commercial vehicle
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Ability to keep to delivery schedules
  • Ability to appropriately interact with customers and suppliers
  • Comfortable and competent to drive in busy areas
  • Safe operation and inspection of delivery vehicles
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Flexible work hours and availability for sudden changes to schedule
