Job Responsibilities

Providing Subject Matter expertise around the manufacturing operations, material flow and business process, along with knowledge on the current automation maturity
Responsible for equipment upgrades, connection, and integration
Core MES Design, Configuration, Verification & Validation
Connect Suite Equipment Controllers
Setup Core MES Configuration Management
Develop Site Deployment Plan Template
Design Process Models
MES Go Live Support
Re-assess the volume of SOP Updates
Manage Change Control
Integration Platform (connect MES to external apps)
Application Integration
Acts as a change agent, to identify and drive the business changes. Reviews and provides feedback to Change Management team on communication efforts, change plans, job role definitions, training materials.
Uses knowledge in functional area to understand and improve individual, work group, and/or organizational results. Leverages industry best practices applicable to the work function
Identifies improvement opportunities, generates ideas, and implements solutions. Fosters a continuous improvement mindset to streamline and harmonize functional processes and systems.
Sets goals, prioritizes tasks, and monitors progress toward goals.
Effectively collaborates and influences to gain acceptance of ideas and commitment to actions that support specific project outcomes. Communicates effectively to diverse stakeholders of all levels of the organization.
Responds quickly and effectively to rapid, frequent, and unforeseen change. Approaches challenges with effective problem-solving abilities.

Job Requirements

University degree, or commensurate experience; B.Sc in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical or Health Sciences is an asset
Knowledge of automation and PLC is required for this role
Strong functional/operational background and extensive knowledge of Manufacturing
Knowledge of how business processes within Manufacturing integrate with one another and/or other process streams and systems
Understands data and systems and how they support and enable business processes
Conceptual knowledge and understanding of ERP systems
Proven ability to analyze, identify, plan, and implement operational efficiencies by streamlining and harmonizing functional processes and systems
Solid business acumen with a continuous improvement mindset, challenging the status quo, identifying improvement opportunities, generating ideas, and implementing solutions
Effectively translates concepts and/or ambiguity into actionable solutions establishing structure to achieve deliverables
Excellent oral and written communication skills; communicates effectively to diverse stakeholders of all levels of the organization
Solid planning, project management and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, other Microsoft Office Programs and SAP
Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities with mínimal supervision
Functions effectively in a team environment
