Sunbury Transport is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of
Dispatcher located in Saint John, NB.

Qualifications:

Experience in the Transportation and Logistics industry considered an asset
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work within a team
Computer skills are essential (Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite)
Willingness to work rotational shifts (day and night shifts, oncall, and during the weekend)

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison with drivers based on their needs/questions regarding loads, schedules, paperwork, etc
Plan and dispatch drivers for required loads
Coordination of maintenance when equipment breaks down
Summarize and deliver relevant information to next shift
Resolve customer issues and address special needs/requests when required
Promote and support all safety initiatives when performing roles and responsibilities
Monitor assigned loads and document any issues, resolutions, or escalation
