Position:
Utility Forester

Description:

This is a full-time position as a Utility Forester conducting vegetation assessments on Powerline Right-of-Ways and consulting with landowners/stakeholders/municipalities regarding the proposed work.

Applicants will be required to work and travel throughout the province of Alberta.

Qualifications:

Registered RPF, RPFT, UTT, UTW or ISA Certification
Past Experience/Education in utility, environmental, arboricultural, forestry and reclamation fields an asset
Valid class 5 drivers license
Standard First Aid with CPR required, assets include: CSTS, H2S and ATV/UTV/Snowmobile Training
An understanding of Alberta Legal Land Descriptions
Tree species identification
Organized, legible writing, selfmotivation, team player, positive attitude and leadership abilities
