What You'll Get To Do:


As a Self-serve Account Manager, you are the first escalation point for clients self-managing their affiliate programs via our technology and trusted for the expert advice and direction you provide.

You are responsible for self-serve client queries by ensuring you and your team, are efficiently troubleshooting client and publisher questions, brokering publisher and client relationships, monitoring metrics and usage and pushing the boundaries when revenue is on the table.


Team Management

  • Proven ability to train and manage other team members working in the selfserve pod
  • Focus on growth and training of direct reports
  • Implementation of processes to shape the growing SAAS arm of the Fintel Connect business and ensure team stability and efficiency

Affiliate Management

  • Identify proactive affiliate opportunities for clients within time allocated client hours
  • Identify "out of the box" opportunities for increased revenue and confidently present to key stakeholders
  • Maintain and leverage the team's strategic relationship with affiliates to increase revenue
  • Respond to all affiliate queries within 24 hours of receiving
  • Monitor MessageHub and ensure clients are following rules of engagement

Account Management

  • Proven client project management and leadership skills internally and externally; creating an environment of trust and consultation
  • Ability to manage and prioritize volume of client requests
  • Demonstrate knowledge of tracking and expert system knowledge by testing, troubleshooting and monitoring client systems and training
  • Ability to quickly understand an individual client's needs, their businesses, and objectives and how to best reach them through our products and services
  • Offer insight and guidance to troubleshoot and respond to client queries quickly and diligently
  • Collaborate with the technical team to manage tickets and technical resolutions
  • Create and manage campaign assets as required
  • Ensure data has been imported correctly into the software by clients and do spot checks on commission calculations to ensure system accuracy
  • Monitor client technology usage to proactively spot technical problems potential or current and ensure client compliance of systems and procedures
  • Identify and upsell clients that would benefit from Fintel Connect's other suite of products
  • Develop ad hoc program strategies, recruitment lists, campaign ideas and Fintel Connect service proposals for SS clients (a paid service)

What We're Looking For:


  • A bachelor's degree in business, administration/management, sales, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of related work experience
  • 18+ months of experience managing a team of 1 or more direct reports
  • Ability to manage a high volume of competing priorities and coach team members to do the same
  • Analytical thinker with strong problems solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
