Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide high-quality patient care. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take digital xrays (Bitewings, PA, Panorex), Taking intraoral photos
- Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical documentation and coding
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and postoperative care
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
- Assist with dental lab tasks, such as pouring models and trimming impressions
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Placement of Rubber Dam
- Fabrication of temporary crowns
- Alginate impressions and tray fabrication
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience using Digital radiographs and Dental Software (Cleardent)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and coding
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficiency in Power Practice or similar dental software
- Knowledge of orthodontics and experience with pediatric dentistry is preferred
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions is a plus
- Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Pay:
$35.21-$36.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
