Carte Blanche Haute Coiffure Salon & Spa Inc is seeking a receptionist to join our dynamic team


Front Desk Receptionist duties include:

• Greet clients, checkin clients, and process payments
• Book appointments and maintain staff's schedules
• Manage database and administration
• Call clients daily to confirm upcoming appointments
• Create incident reports, when needed
• Scheduling appointments for the hair stylists and estheticians
• A certain amount of skill is needed to do this properly and ensure that the stylist's time is utilized well and stylist's columns run smoothly.
• The hair salon receptionist will need to know the approximate time that each treatment takes including how quickly each individual stylist takes to carry out their treatments, thus that sufficient time is given between each booked appointment.
• Book group bookings/party bookings, create itinerary sheets, take deposits
• Maintain cleanliness of the front end and office
• Promote and sell services and products, including recommending and selling additional services and/or retail products which will enhance and improve the guests' image and/or contribute to the guest's satisfaction with services performed
• Willing and timely performance of other duties as given by management

Requirements:

• Bilingual (considered an asset)
• Secondary Diploma (preferred)
• Must be flexible
• Experience in Reception/Administration considered an asset
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Smart Serve Certification (preferred)
• Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

Full-time: 30-35 hours
