Description
Delta Controls is looking for a Product Strategy Manager to join the product strategy team.

This person will report to the Chief Technology Officer, you will guide strategic direction of the set of business units at Delta Controls.

This includes managing the overall product roadmaps and strategies. This involves researching products and technologies, and analyzing market conditions.

You will develop business cases qualifying the present and future values for new product initiatives and strategic decisions that drive future direction.

You will leverage your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects.

You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.

You must be able to communicate with all areas of the company. You will work with external resources to help define product vision and scope requirements.

You will work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, assisting in the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers.

You will also serve as the evangelist for your product offering, often interacting with the sales channel and key customers to gather needs, use-cases, and communicate the future direction externally.

Hybrid (Three days a week to the office)

Business trips will be required, approximately 10% to 15%

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management of the overall Product Roadmaps and Strategy for each Line of Business.
  • Management of the Product Strategy Process.
  • Ensuring consistent and proper communications of all strategies.
  • Identifying training and educational requirements and opportunities for continuous improvement and development of departmental staff.
  • Similar to the Product Strategist, developing overall product plans and future directions for the assigned product platforms. This requires a thorough review and analysis of market needs, trends, and other data procured from external and internal resources.
  • Procurement and analysis of financial data to support business cases and all directional decisions.
