Position Overview:
This role is a sales-focused role and will be responsible to work closely with the Account Managers and General Managers across multiple branches, assisting to foster and develop customer relationships in the Kitchen, Laundry, Food Processing industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with assigned customers as well as newly acquired customers
- Grow business vase by expanding current customer programs as well as new customer acquisition
- Completion of weekly call reports and preparing a monthly preplan
- Maintain customer sales activity in CRM and use this data to develop sales plans for assigned territory and customer base
- Support vendor programs as well as internal marketing initiatives
- Participate in the development and implementation of best practices for the sales support and services functions
- Provide written programs and demos as necessary for the specific needs of customers
- Stay current about new products, equipment, and services related to the industry
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 35 years of experience in sales, industry experience considered an asset.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Financial acumen
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Sales/Marketing or equivalent experience.
