We are looking for a Site Superintendent with experience to join our team.
Our ideal team member is self motivated, takes pride in their work and has a true appreciation for the finished product.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise all personnel at the site level
- Maintain the construction schedule while holding trades and suppliers accountable
- Work with subcontractors and suppliers with planning and completion of the work, reading drawings and interpreting specifications
- Coordinate delivery of materials to the site
- Coordinate required inspections with required cities and departments
- Ensure compliance with martini levels of quality while maintaining the design intent, safety standards, budget and schedule
- Identify and address subcontractor noncompliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards
- Quality control proactively address deficiencies
- Ensure trades rectify all deficiencies on a timely manner
- Resolves complaints and grievances that may arise within the workforce at the jobsite
- Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean, organized, and adhering to job safety standards
- Work directly with our Project Managers and our office design staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in construction at a site level
- Level 1 or 2 First Aid is an asset
- Site safety officer (CSO) Certification is an asset
- Valid BC Drivers License
- Strong communication skills
- Close attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
