Technical Advisor - Burlington, Canada - Liebherr-Canada Ltd.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide Liebherr equipment specific technical advice, guidance and troubleshooting to technicians and their customers.
- Meet with customers for service issues, this also includes participation in scheduled customer service meetings.
- Liaise with Liebherr factories for inquiries, technical questions, feedback and follow up closely to ensure timely responses.
- Technical support of warranty and goodwill cases.
- Support parts department for special inquiries.
- Assure all service information and bulletins are clearly communicated to the service departments.
- Advise supervisors and the training team about technical training requirements for technicians.
- Advanced understanding of oil analysis, make technical recommendations based on sample results.
- Ability to perform failure analysis on components.
- Ability to use LiDAT, LISA and all other factories' software to review historical data and trends.
- Maintain and update problem database.
- Share technical information and solutions proactively with the service departments
- Other duties as assigned or required
Competencies:
-
More than 7 years of direct Liebherr equipment experience

Previous experience using LiDAT and LISA is required
:

Must be able to read, write, and speak in English in an effictive fashion
:
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components
- Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, component exchange, repair and warranty related activities
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical drawings
- You are able to effectively communicate detailed and complex information in a clear and concise manner
- You are selfmotivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Fully proficient with computers and Microsoft Office suite
