Providence Care is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative Leadership and Talent Development Associate Consultant to join our team.

The Associate Consultant will participate in activities using their knowledge and expertise of instructional and/or behavioural science to create learning assets (primarily virtual) to improve performance and build capacity of leaders and teams.

Working as part of a team, the Associate Consultant assists with leadership development, learning design and development, performance development, recognition, and employee engagement activities supported by the department.

The Associate Consultant is accountable for contributing to the delivery of the organizational strategy by ensuring that assigned activities meet organization goals and priorities.


Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Undergraduate Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • 3 years of experience in instructional design and delivery including eLearning and virtual environments.
  • Healthcare or public sector experience an asset

Role Responsibilities

  • Conducts needs assessments and analysis using databased methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), identify critical issues, root causes, assess client needs, and recommend, design and/or implement appropriate solutions and interventions
  • Designs and develops eLearning or virtual learning assets using an eLearning authoring tool and other interactive software
  • Analyzes and applies trends and best practices in learning (such as learning technologies or tools, instructional or visual design, accessibility, and user experience).
  • Maintains project documentation and reports progress on schedule as determined by the project.
  • Designs, develops, and delivers programs that build employee and organizational effectiveness including those related to employee engagement, performance development, and leadership development.
