Financial Analyst**.

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, and serving as an integral member of the Finance team, the Financial Analyst will be working closely with Operations to provide period updates on actuals, prepare financial forecasts, and assist with annual budget and strategic planning activities.

In addition, the Financial Analyst will be expected to bring energy and creativity to the identification of financial analysis and reporting opportunities.

The role requires a strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced, high growth organization.

Qualifications:

Education:
University Degree
Bachelor of Business Administration with Major in Accounting or Finance
Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
Experience: 35 years of experience within an accounting or financial analytical role
Advanced Microsoft Skills
Experience with Cognos TM1 and Tableau considered an asset
Shipbuilding, large project, or manufacturing knowledge considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret large datasets
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to work well with multiple teams
Selfmotivated to drive continuous improvement in a highperformance team
All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)._

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with cost control, updating budget owners on period results and working closely with operations to create financial forecasts
Assist in creation of the annual budget and strategic planning activities
Cash management and forecasting including working closely with Claims, Accounts Payable and Treasury
Identify and implement process improvement initiatives related to financial reporting and cost controls
Ad hoc analysis, reporting and special requests as required
