Summary:

Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, the Welding Robotic Operator is responsible for fitting, assembling and welding parts of a structural nature in accordance with blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions to produce agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities:

Operation of required measuring instruments tape measures, micrometer and weld fillet gage
Occasional handwelding
Bolt, clamp and tack weld parts to secure position for welding
Complete welds as per company drawings, standards and procedures
Recording of process sheets and daily work tickets (interval and first off checks)
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Perform all other work activities as assigned and required

Education and Knowledge Required:

Related trade certificate from a recognized postsecondary institute is beneficial
Combinations of education and experience will be considered

Experience and Technical Skills Required:

1+ years of experience
Proficiency in programming and operating robotic welding equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

The successful applicant must have a superior work ethic, excellent time management skills and a positive attitude. The work environment will include; working alone or as part of a team and following safe work practices.
