Roles & Responsibilities:
What can you expect in this role?
- Support Web Middleware Application infrastructure on Unix/Linux onprem and cloud
- Expertise in Java, SQL, and SOA framework
- Effectively troubleshoot problems to root cause, including deep dive analysis of known security vulnerabilities
- Engage vendors for support, when applicable (open tickets, confirm supportability for new solutions and vulnerability fixes)
- Participate in and coordinate the scheduling of Web Middleware upgrades and patching activities
- 7+ years UNIX (Solaris/AIX/Linux)
- 7+ years managing Aurea CX Messenger, Weblogic, WebSphere, or any Enterprise Service Bus
- Understanding of network configurations and how to trace the traffic flow
- Scripting or programming skills in one or more of the following: Unix Shell(s), ANT, Jython/Python, Perl, Java, PowerShell
- Handson experience with APIs, SOAP, and RESTful services testing.
- Deploy releases in multiple environments including production (experience deploying using Jenkins is required)
- Support to deploy monitoring agents to monitor, administrate, triage & escalate issues primarily around Middleware Application infrastructure (Enterprise Service Bus)
- Engage with different stakeholders, internal and external service providers, and SMEs as needed to help track and resolve incidents
- Extensive Working Knowledge on a tool like AppDynamics, Splunk
- Reporting and Governance
- Daily Connect and Weekly/Monthly Status Reviews
- Actively monitor the system (and services) status, Health Rules and Alerts, Dashboard accuracy, and communicate with teams
