Roles & Responsibilities:

What can you expect in this role?

Support Web Middleware Application infrastructure on Unix/Linux onprem and cloud
Expertise in Java, SQL, and SOA framework
Effectively troubleshoot problems to root cause, including deep dive analysis of known security vulnerabilities
Engage vendors for support, when applicable (open tickets, confirm supportability for new solutions and vulnerability fixes)
Participate in and coordinate the scheduling of Web Middleware upgrades and patching activities
7+ years UNIX (Solaris/AIX/Linux)
7+ years managing Aurea CX Messenger, Weblogic, WebSphere, or any Enterprise Service Bus
Understanding of network configurations and how to trace the traffic flow
Scripting or programming skills in one or more of the following: Unix Shell(s), ANT, Jython/Python, Perl, Java, PowerShell
Handson experience with APIs, SOAP, and RESTful services testing.
Deploy releases in multiple environments including production (experience deploying using Jenkins is required)
Support to deploy monitoring agents to monitor, administrate, triage & escalate issues primarily around Middleware Application infrastructure (Enterprise Service Bus)
Engage with different stakeholders, internal and external service providers, and SMEs as needed to help track and resolve incidents
Extensive Working Knowledge on a tool like AppDynamics, Splunk

Reporting and Governance

Daily Connect and Weekly/Monthly Status Reviews
Actively monitor the system (and services) status, Health Rules and Alerts, Dashboard accuracy, and communicate with teams
