Edmonton Nut and Bolt is currently recruiting for a permanent full-time Warehouse Associate/Occasional Driver.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES included but are not limited to:

Pick orders accurately and in a time frame established by Distribution Manager
Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking; ensuring accuracy in each stage of the order process
Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
Operate forklifts, hand trucks or other materialshandling equipment proficiently and safely (training available)
Help assemble orders and wrap skids as required
Unpack and store goods in the correct areas ensuring goods are labeled correctly
Assist in Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control and Modification area when needed
May be required to drive the company vehicle and make deliveries
Other duties as assigned by Distribution Manager

WORKING CONDITIONS

Warehouse environment
Weekdays (8am to 5pm)
Moderate computer use, prolonged hours standing
Able to consistently lift 4050 lbs

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma; previous warehouse experience is an asset
Forklift experience is not a requirement
Excellent time management, problem solving, multitasking and communication skills
Able to work under pressure, with tight timelines, in repetitive tasks
Accuracy and attention to detail
Team player with a helpful, "can do" attitude
