What will you do?


You are responsible for the front counter customer service including, sale of accessories and parts, answering customer inquiries, receiving power tools for repair, providing information to customers concerning the diagnosis, cost estimates and shipping various Makita power tools and equipment.

You ensure the showroom is maintained in a safe, orderly, and clean manner, providing administrative support, and assisting with reports.


What will you work on?

  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients/dealers and public.
  • Process invoices for sales and repairs.
  • Support the Service Centre with administrative tasks and reports.
  • Notify customers of repair estimate, completed repairs and orders ready for pick up.
  • Ensure the appropriate service levels are maintained in the FSC.
  • Maintain inventory levels for parts and accessories.
  • Ensure the Factory Service Centre is clean and organized.
  • Ship and receive goods, both internal and customer items.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

To be successful you will have:
High School diploma or equivalent.

One (1) year of customer service experience.


What you bring to the team:

  • Strong planning and organizational skills to be able to prioritize your work.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, shipping and receiving via courier service an asset.
  • Familiarity with electric (AC & DC), pneumatic and gasolinepowered tools an asset.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment, with the ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, also includes a lot of reaching, lifting, pushing/pulling, bending, and twisting.
