We provide patient support programs for specialty drug therapies, providing physicians with resources to manage their patients, facilitating reimbursement, and enhancing patient compliance.

We deliver superior customer service to patients, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical manufacturers to improve healthcare outcomes for all stakeholders.

**Job Overview: SHN is looking to hire a Summer Student within our Department of Specialty Programs. Within the business unit, the Student will have the opportunity to support the Patient Support Program and gain valuable experience by working on special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Manager and Senior Manager. The Student will effectively manage all assigned tasks and responsibilities within the required timelines.


What you will do:


  • Support the daytoday program needs through collaboration with the Senior Program Managers
  • Schedule various meetings, prepare meeting agenda and meeting minutes
  • Work with the program management department to manage and facilitate program requirements and file cleanup
  • Report all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Technical Complaints (PTC) immediately or as soon as possible upon becoming aware of the event as per current policies and procedures
  • Undertake any other duties or responsibilities requested
  • Be responsible for special projects

What you will need:


  • Working towards a postsecondary education in a related field
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all relevant Specialty Health Network teams
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and a keen attention to detail are required
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be confident when using Microsoft Office 36
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms is an asset (Salesforce)
  • Previous Program Management and/or Project Management experience are assets
  • Previous reimbursement, customer service, or clinical experience are assets
