NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION:
Communications & Marketing Coordinator
Part time permanent Position (Hybrid) remote & on-site; 20hrs per week. Monday to Friday with some weekend and evening availability around events.
:
As a member of the Rotary Hospice fundraising team, the Communications & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing and monitoring communication strategies, that will develop and foster relationships to promote and increase awareness about Rotary Hospice in our Communities.
Key responsibilities:
Develop communication & marketing plans to support annual appeals (direct mail campaigns/community reports), donor relations, grants, corporate and individual appeals, and special events.
Create updates and maintain a social media presence in addition to the creation of materials and presentation speaking notes.Document donor, resident, staff, volunteer, and caregiver stories, used in the development of campaigns & events. Attend Rotary Hospice events to capture and promote through social media content.
Provides support to community outreach activities.

Director of Fund Development & Stewardship
DATE REQUIRED:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree or equivalent education/experience in Communications, marketing, or public relations.
- Proven competence in multitasking, planning, meeting deadlines and organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent computer skills; experience with database management, Microsoft office, in addition to various social media platforms.
- Knowledge of emarketing and design tools.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2yrs experience in digital communications & Marketing preferred.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Two Step TB test and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Covid19 vaccination (minimum three (3) doses)
ABILITIES:
- Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in the English language.
- Ability to interact with Donors, families, residents, staff of
- Computer literate and able to work with Microsoft Suite.
- Flexibility with hours around significant Hospice events.
- Hybrid work schedule to include a minimum of one day on
- Site and remote work from home.
