THE OPPORTUNITY

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities for HRIS

  • Meditech Expanse HR/PP modules system administration and support
  • Participate as Meditech Expanse HR/PP Module Regional Representative
  • Mass updates of employee wage grids in Meditech Expanse
  • Creation of new job codes within Meditech Expanse
  • UKG Dimensions Time and Attendance system administration and support
  • WSI (Worldsoft) Information Management Platform system administration and support
  • Troubleshooting and resolving system problems ensuring critical deadlines are not compromised
  • Providing functional guidance and support as well as training as required
  • Perform biweekly audits to ensure data integrity
  • Responsible for documenting process and identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address specific HRIS needs
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in HRIS practices
  • Regularly update and maintain employee records within the Meditech Expanse system
  • Stay informed about the latest updates and advancements in Meditech Expanse and other relevant systems
Responsibilities for Data Analytics

  • Responding to requests for reporting needs within the organization
  • Completion of Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) surveys, Ministry reporting, Union Economic Surveys, Human Resources corporate indicators
  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather requirements for data analytics projects
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of data privacy and security regulations
  • Implement strategies to enhance data quality and integrity

Job Requirements:

  • Successfully completed postsecondary diploma/degree in computer science, information systems, Human Resources management, finance, or related field
  • Preferably holds a certificate in Data Analytics
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the Meditech Expanse HR/PP Module is highly advantageous; at a minimum, proficiency in robust computer skills is essential, accompanied by the enthusiasm and initiative to evolve into an expert in Meditech Expanse HR/PP
  • Experience with UKG Dimensions Time and Attendance Software
  • Preferred experience with time and attendance systems
  • Experience with WSI (Worldsoft) Information Management Platform budgeting software
  • Must be extremely proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with demonstrated experience developing complex spreadsheets, queries, and reports
  • Proficiency in report writing is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn and develop this skill is equally valued
  • Proven track record of technical proficiency, analytical acumen, and effective problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of business processes, technical requirements, and HRIS systems tools
  • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, along with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Strong client focus with an awareness of and sensitivity to diversity
  • Demonstrates outstanding followthrough skills and a track record of proactively taking initiative
  • Possession of knowledge in expenses and budgets is considered an asset
  • Experience in a unionized environment is an asset
  • Proven ability to work in a fastpaced, highvolume environment with strong multitasking and prioritizing abilities
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and operate with discretion in sensitive situations
  • Ability to adjust work schedule to accommodate organizational needs
  • Commitment to GBGH Values and Purpose Statement required
  • As a partially designated French speaking organization, French verbal and written communication skills are considered an asset in this position
