The Institute for Better Health's Strategic Design & Business Development (SDBD) team is responsible for working closely with programs and groups to lead and support the codesign of meaningful, scalable and innovative solutions to shape a healthier tomorrow for the hospital and community.

The SDBD team is currently seeking an Innovation Analyst to support the development of innovation projects, programs and processes that are aligned with the hospital's strategic plan and mission of creating a new kind of health care for a healthier community.

***The Innovation Analyst will work closely with individuals and groups across THP to enable, build and support innovation capabilities, including best practices, tools, training and infrastructure. Key activities would include working with leaders, front-line clinicians and staff to understand innovation needs, scanning and understanding best practices in innovation theory, supporting the creative development and implementation of novel programs, processes, training and tools to enable and support a culture of innovation across THP. The Innovation Analyst will also be responsible for providing project coordination support to ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables and milestones.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovation planning, programs and infrastructure
  • Conduct market scans, and critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and summarize findings, including organizational analysis to determine facilitators and barriers for innovation success, and innovation management best practices in both health care and other sectors
  • Utilize insights from scans to develop implementation plans and begin setup of key systems, infrastructure and tools to enable and support innovation
  • Engage with leaders, frontline staff, and staff to capture innovation needs
  • Support the development of inhouse knowledge of innovation tools and techniques at THP
  • Support the development and delivery of presentations, comprehensive reports, and proposals to all levels of the organizations
  • Analyze workflows and redesign processes to support the design and implementation of innovation infrastructure, programs and processes
  • Coordinate with internal and external relevant parties and groups to ensure the timely delivery of key project milestones
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned in alignment with innovation priorities and SDBD activities
