The Opportunity:


Olympic Industries is excited to offer a highly motivated and detail-orientated student the opportunity to join our growth-oriented team for a 4-month contract beginning in September 2023 as an Invoicing Assistant Working closely with the Invoicing Team, the Invoicing Assistant will support the invoicing function of the organization in their day-to-day operations along with providing office support to the Operations Team.

Additional Details:


  • Salary range: $38,000$45,000 per annum.
  • This position is 100% in office, located in Lower Lonsdale, North Vancouver.

Specific Responsibilities:

The Invoicing Assistant will be responsible for the following, in collaboration with other team members, as well as other related duties as assigned to support the business objectives and purpose of the company:

  • Support the Invoicing Team in managing the creation, processing, and distribution of invoices.
  • Resolving inquiries, including issuing debits & credits to resolve discrepancies, and answering invoicingrelated questions.
  • Update and adjust sales orders per approval.
  • Complete required customs paperwork.
  • Perform basic office duties such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
  • Assist in the monthend closing procedures.
  • Participation in ad hoc projects.

Who We're Looking For:


Education and Experience:


  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts and principles (prior coursework is a plus).
  • Previous experience in a fastpaced work environment.
  • Experience with AS400 considered an asset.

  • Proven ability to complete work in a timely manner with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
