SMS Equipment, our
Connected Assets Leader - Digital Transformation, is responsible for working with SMS business functions and customers in defining a strategy to fully leverage connected machine data across SMS.
The role of the
Connected Assets Leader - Digital Transformation will use collected data to improve business practices, increase internal efficiencies and drive business growth whilst continually adding value to our customers.
Acheson, AB.
This role offers a
hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute the Connected Assets strategy, platform, roadmap and vision for SMS Business Units.
- Work closely with Cross Functional Business Units to understand current gaps and define product requirements.
- Develop an analytics framework capable of converting available equipment data into insightful knowledge to better support the business functions.
- Work collaboratively with OEMs and other dealer partners to stay up to date on leading industry trends as they relate to business growth via Connected Assets.
- Identify, assess, and execute process improvements via a Connected Assets Platform that increases efficiency and capabilities across all areas of SMS Business Lines.
- Work with key business leaders to identify KPIs.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends and technology that if implemented would result in operation efficiency improvements.
- Be a leader for Culture Change through the introduction of lean principles and organization wide process improvements with Connected Assets solutions.
- Be a change champion with strong focus on new value creation for SMS.
- Lead and manage the Connected Assets program implementation change process and be the technical owner of the Connected Assets Platform.
Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of business processes, data structure, reporting and internal controls.
- Knowledge in system integration technology.
- Understanding of remote conditionbased monitoring systems and environments, and commercial models to support customer equipment.
- Strong business process analytics skills.
- Ability to create and execute strategic road maps.
- Ability to lead, collaborate with and influence cross functional teams.
- Proven record of consistently delivering results that align with corporate strategies to deliver measurable business value.
