Be prime in implementing changes in the facility layout through relocating equipment, benches, work stations and services connected to them.
Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
Communicating with the production team and maintaining a clean work area.
Document and implement all cost saving opportunities as they are presented.
Implement Error Proofing devices.
Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.

EXPERIENCE / BACKGROUND REQUIRED

Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Basic computer and report writing skills.
Good communication & timemanagement skills.
Must be able to lift 50lbs
Valid Ontario Driver's license and fork lift and scissors lift license/certification.
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and building codes.
