JOB SUMMARY
Cannapiece Corp. is currently seeking a skilled Infused Pre-Roll Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this position include performing day-to-day operations related to the production of high-quality cannabis extracts and infused pre
- rolls. The technician will work closely with the team to ensure compliance with strict regulations and to continuously improve production processes.
The individual must have a thorough understanding of equipment, standard operating procedures, and work-specific instructions. They should be comfortable working in a fast
- paced and dynamic environment. They should be able to work well as part of a team or independently. The use of a respirator and other personal protective equipment is mandatory for this position.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Infused Pre-Roll Technician will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
- Training on and performing infusion techniques and operating infusion equipment
- Working efficiently to minimize waste and maximize the quality of the product
- Assisting with and carrying out infused preroll joint filling processes
- Following strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Monitoring the infusion process to ensure that product specifications are being met and alerting the supervisor if anything deviates
- Working with supervisors to carry out instructions and meeting critical timelines and deliverables
- Adapting to changing production goals and timelines accordingly
- Using basic math to follow recipes
- Communicating process variables (weight, temperature, pressure, consistency, etc.)
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in the quality of the products
- Taking extreme care for inputs and outputs of the process
- Ensuring the cleanliness and industrial hygiene of the work areas and self
- Handling hot and sensitive materials to minimize waste and maximize safety
- Coordinating activities with Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure that extraction is performed per cGMP standards
- Performing other adhoc tasks as operationally required
REQUIREMENTS
- Comfort with handson tasks that may require physical exertion and attention to detail.
- Ability to carry out repetitive tasks
- Required to wear PPE during processing such as steel toe safety shoes, eye protection, respirator, gloves, and other PPE
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and hold parts up to 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate problems or changes with equipment or process to solve technical and quality issues
- Previous experience working in a cannabis LP is an asset, but not required
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced dynamic workspace, and comfortable working as part of the team or on their own.
- Knowledge of GMP, SOP, and safety guidelines
- Experience handling equipment and ingredients in a production/kitchen/lab environment
- Strong communication and problemsolving skills
- Basic math skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report deviations from standard operating procedures.
