We're searching for a passionate and experienced Dental Lab Technician to bolster our digital lab team and maintain our reputation for excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Dental Lab Technician is responsible for meticulously planning and fabricating dental surgical guides in collaboration with dentists and their teams.
This role involves multi-faceted duties, from planning guided cases to ensuring timely delivery, answering specific inquiries, and performing regular maintenance on the equipment.
This position is essential for ensuring the highest quality and precision of surgical guides.- Handle digital lab work using systems such as 3Shape Dental System, CoDiagnostix, Simplant, iTero, and Dental Wings DWOS.
- Digitally plan and 3D print surgical guides with precision.
- Engage in guided surgery planning utilizing tools like Straumann CoDiagnostix and the 3Shape Implant Studio.
- Bring CAD/CAM milling experience to the team for optimal results.
- Manage the setup and seamless transfer of digital data between different systems.
- Collaborate closely with dentists, leveraging effective communication skills to plan cases and create idealized implant plans and prosthetic designs.
- Maintaining quality control.
- Manage timely shipping and receiving of Guided Surgery products.
- Answer inquiries related to guided procedures from Canaray staff, dental offices, and direct calls from dentists.
- Perform regular maintenance on 3D printers to ensure optimal performance.
- Design and create specialized guides, including bone and bone reduction guides, mucosa guides, and cater to unique dentist requests.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Certified Dental Lab Technician
- Experience in dental lab technology, especially digital lab work and 3D printing.
- Familiarity with 3Shape Dental System, CoDiangostix, Dental Wings DWOS, Simplant, iTero and other digital dental platforms.
- Skilled in surgical guide fabrication and CAD/CAM milling.
- Strong communication abilities for efficient case planning with dentists.
- Experience in creating idealized implant plans and implant prosthetic designs is a strong plus.
