ABOUT THE ROLE:


Join us as the Talent Development Manager - Field, where you'll spearhead a dynamic array of initiatives aimed at igniting employee performance and fostering vibrant engagement across our stores.

Your mission? Cultivate impactful relationships with leaders, craft innovative programs, and orchestrate their seamless execution and evaluation.

Bring your expertise in adult education principles and project management to the forefront as we strive to exceed company objectives together.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Project Management:

  • Successfully accomplish defined objectives by assessing requirements, devising operational strategies, implementing plans, overseeing progress, and resolving obstacles as they emerge
  • Collaborate closely with the FSC Retail Team, Translations, Store Communications & Workload teams to guarantee alignment with business goals, linguistic precision, and leadership requirements
  • Spearhead process oversight and enhancement initiatives; detect procedural deficiencies and introduce tools to enhance operational efficiency. Prominent projects entail leading, exempt staff management, and facilitating onboarding processes for new store openings and content integration

Development:

  • Develop innovative learning resources by conducting comprehensive needs assessments, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating strategies. Aim to comprehend the program's influence and continually foster the advancement of store leadership
  • Oversee the management of the Rise with Sephora Leadership Development Courses curriculum. This encompasses all existing competency courses, processes, catalog, and communication, while also crafting new content aligned with the business needs and the requirements of our leaders

Delivery:

  • Easily build trust through strong facilitation and presentation skills to engage the audience
  • Conduct Virtual Instructor Led Training and inperson events

Communicate & Market:

  • Connect with various stakeholders and the core audience to communicate the "what's in it for me" factor. Demonstrate our Sephora values of Passion, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect, Teamwork, and Initiative
  • Cultivate strong partnerships crossfunctionally across numerous functions across Sephora, both within and outside of the Retail department
  • Communicate strategies and important program updates with crossfunctional partners to ensure all teams are implementing as planned and are informed of any relevant changes.
  • Communicate quarterly executive summaries gathering data from various platforms such as: Survey Monkey, MSL, Foundational Reporting, & Learning Event Management

Program Operations:

  • Daily execution of programs including administration, store support, and reporting
  • Oversee daytoday operations of the Training Store Director program for Canada from strategy to execution, by delegating, monitoring, and delivery of planned objectives.
  • Responsibilities include oversight of program, transfer of learning, communication with stakeholders, and addressing identified gaps in the onboarding process that will help drive critical metrics
  • Partner closely with our US partners for program updates, new initiatives and pilots
  • Oversee vendor relationships and management

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


  • 5 years of proven experience in the Talent Development space, ideally with a focus in Leadership Development
  • University degree in HR, Education, Arts, Business Administration or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to design, develop and execute engaging blended learning programs
  • Inspire learners through experienced facilitation and presentation skills
  • Success using change management principles to practice leading change across multiple stakeholders
  • Flexible, upbeat, and energetic attitude selfstarter who can quickly build strong partnerships and effectively communicate needs and challenges
  • Highly collaborative and open to multiple perspectives, work both independently and collaboratively to achieve outcomes
  • Ability to build relationships and trust am
