The Cleaner, under the direction of the Grey Buffalo Grandfather Wellness Lodge Coordinator, is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective cleaning of the Grey Buffalo Grandfather Wellness Lodge.

They will be required to perform tasks such as vacuuming, washing, dusting, laundering of bedding, and disinfecting, to name a few.

The Cleaner will be responsible for ensuring that their required tasks are completed thoroughly, on time, and with mínimal supervision.

Essential Functions:

One (1) year of previous custodial/janitorial experience.
Highly motivated and able to work with mínimal supervision.
Must be able to schedule and prioritize work independently.
Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions verbally and in writing.
Ability to multitask and establish priorities.
Strong communication and problemsolving ability.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally, at all times.
Must be willing to work as a team member.
Must be willing to prioritize tasks, efficiently to set and meet deadlines.
Ability to work under stressful conditions.
Flexible in order to respond effectively and positively in diverse relationships.
Valid WHMIS certification.
First Aid/CPR certification is considered an asset.
Subject to Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry and Prior Contact Checks.
Must have a valid Manitoba Driver's license and access to a vehicle.
