Description

We are currently hiring for a Fleet Manager for one of our clients in Mississauga.

Responsibilities include:

Oversee and manage the fleet of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and in good working condition.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Coordinate with mechanics and technicians to schedule repairs and maintenance tasks.
Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify any issues or potential problems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Monitor fuel consumption and implement strategies to optimize fuel efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including safety standards and environmental regulations.
Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for repairs and maintenance.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate fleet operations and support organizational goals.

Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance techniques.
Familiarity with a variety of vehicles and equipment, such as Caterpillar machinery, farm machinery, cranes, etc.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong problemsolving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Customer serviceoriented mindset.
