Straight Days; 6AM to 2:30PM- Weekdays; available to work Overtime & Weekends, as needed
Starting Wage Range is provided, however is negotiable and based on Experience

North Star Woodbridge has a current opening for a
Maintenance Technician to work within their Maintenance department, in Woodbridge Ontario. You will be partnered with a team of Engineers and Manufacturing Staff to help support the daily activities associated with sustaining a thriving Door manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, installing or dismantling machinery and equipment; according to company initiatives. In addition to repairing and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, this position may require diagnosing and solving electrical issues with plant equipment. This position is
Straight Days; Monday to Friday,
however shift flexibility is required for this role; in order to meet production demand and important deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure work performed adheres to relevant safety regulations, codes and specifications.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Answer break down calls, troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures
- Working at heights Skyjack, Boom Lift
- Identify and report safety hazards
- All tools required will be supplied by North Star
- Other duties as assigned by management
