ABOUT US:
Eos Lightmedia installs complex lighting and audio visual systems in Museum, Science Centres, Attractions and Architectural environments.
We have a wide range of services we provide including:
- Lighting Design, supply and installation
- AV Design, supply and installation
- Software development and deployment
- Lighting and audio visual system programming.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the management and coordination for select Eos Lightmedia projects across North America and beyond.
We are a team oriented environment, and are looking for the right person to be part of our team - it could be youWHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Manage the scheduling, supply and installation of selected projects and/or project components.
- Source suppliers, fabricators, contractors, and installers and manage project schedules and budgets to ensure delivery of finished projects on time and on budget.
- Working with the team, arrange for the programming, commissioning, and asbuilt documentation of select Eos projects.
- Perform quality control inspections and report on deficiencies.
- Track project costs including cost of goods, shipping, labour costs and miscellaneous expenses, and prepare reports on project net revenue
- Assist the Eos team in preparing installation budgets, takeoffs, quotations, and bid proposals.
- Assist with the ordering, delivery, and invoicing of select Eos projects and/or project components.
- Assist with the contracting and installation of Eos projects as required.
- Perform additional duties as required to assist with the daytoday operation of the business.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
- 2-5+ years' experience as a Project Coordinator / Project Manager in a medium sized company
- Experience in lighting, audiovisual, exhibit fabrication, theatre production, event production or related industry is an asset.
- The ability to read and understand construction documents
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) including the ability to deal with all levels of the construction industry from owners, architects and designers to project managers and installers.
- Demonstrated ability to solicit constructive input from and build consensus among groups and constituencies with differing priorities and perspectives.
- Ability to think creatively and continue to produce quality results in pressure situations.
- Deadlinedriven and selfmotivated.
- Solutions oriented with the ability to be both creative and analytical when approaching problems
- AutoCad or Vectorworks experience an asset but not essential.
- Flexible work schedule, a valid driver's license for North America and the ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Salary:
From $68,000.00 per year
