Role Description


Performance QE Lead is an advisory and hands on role who analyzes the system and finds out bottlenecks of performance and advise remediation through including but not limited to tools and best practices to optimize performance.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Well versed in tools such as Load Runner, JMeter, Dynatrace, ALM QC, JIRA etc.
  • By analyzing the current systems and approach, able to introduce best practices and advise new tools for performance testing
  • Conduct indepth technical assessments and analysis to identify potential performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions to optimize system performance
  • Must be able to lead a Performance QE Team by guiding and coaching them to think the best ways to handle Performance QE practices.
  • Must also lead the team by example with hands on testing.
  • Design the high level performance QE suite adhering to the Enterprise architecture standard
  • Perform high level impact analysis of project delivery and identify performance testing needs.
  • Act as a regular liaison with business and technology partners, senior management, and internal and external clients.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with Technology, QA/QE, Project team and others.
  • Execute design reviews of software components developed by other team members
  • Assist in the enforcement of departmental best practices
  • Create and assist with the test strategy and plans to ensure that there is no gap in test coverage
  • Research technical strategies, third party tools, and current and new technologies to deal with probable performance issues.
  • Assist project management with adhering to project deadlines and schedules
  • Monitor and report on the progress of Testing activities

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Advanced Performance QE expertise in a variety of technologies including hands on experience in designing and development of Performance QE suite in several domains.
  • Apart from regular Performance QE tools such as Load Runner, JMeter, Dynatrace, ALM QC; must be able to advise new tools for better practice.

  • Collaborates closely with clients and team members to understand the business requirements, systems flow, data usage, and work processes that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions
  • Successfully demonstrated experience working with multiple internal and external stakeholders / clients / domain experts

  • Strong written and oral and comprehension communication skills
  • Flexibility, selfmotivated, and has the ability to give and receive feedback
  • Ability to working effectively and collaboratively with others to achieve common goals
  • Able to multitask effectively
  • Able to work effectively with mínimal supervision

  • Able to adapt quickly to changing client requirements
