Reporting to the Production Manager, Flexxaire is currently recruiting an Assembly Technician to join the capable and growing production team.


Minimum requirements:


  • High school diplma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work fulltime, 40 hours per week.
  • 12 years of mechanical assembly experience.
  • Knowledge about appropriate use and care for hand tools, air, and electric torque wrenches.

The following experience is an asset:

  • Knowledge of Lean and 5S practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry safety practices.

Role Responsibilities:


  • Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products.
  • Use equipment & tools correctly & efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory of product in workstations.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Strive to meet quotas without compromising quality.
  • Train and mentor other employees within the production team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
