_VILLAGE OF CONQUEST Inc. 1911 _Caragana Capital**_
- **Public Works Foreman will be responsible for Village maintenance for a population of 167 people.

Position begins immediately.

Responsibilities include:

Perform daily operation and maintenance of the Water Treatment Plant
Conduct treatment processes along with detailed sampling, monitoring and

analysis of water in compliance with Saskatchewan Water Security Agency

regulations.

Submit all required reports in accordance with the regulations and acts
Ensure that all water and wastewater treatment and distribution comply

with the Permit to Operate and Drinking Water Quality Management

guidelines.

Analyze test results and instrument readings
Complete and maintain plant logs and reports
Send samples to Provincial Lab weekly and samples as per permit to operate
Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect possible

equipment malfunctions and to ensure plant systems are operating

normally.

Make adjustments to optimize the water and wastewater treatment

processes and record process and equipment performance.

Maintain inventory of parts and materials to support perpetual operation

and maintenance of the treatment plant and related infrastructure

Monitor, control, and respond to conditions at the water treatment plant
Monitor lagoon levels, inspect facility on a semiannual basis. Take samples

as per Saskatchewan Water Security guidelines and maintain logs.

Flush Hydrants twice per year, flush sewers professionally every third year
Meter Readings quarterly
Maintain good relationship with fellow employees and council as well as the

public

Cut grass throughout designated areas of Village during spring and Summer
Clear snow from all streets in winter months
Perform repair and routine maintenance to Municipal buildings
Street repairs and maintenance
Tree trimming, contact contractors for quote on large jobs
Assist with repairs to infrastructure such as water breaks
Garbage Collection & Transfer Station Maintenance & operation
Other duties as required

Qualifications:
Small Water Systems, Small Wastewater Treatment and Collection Certification

Class 5 Drivers License

Grade 12 or GED preferred

Experience operating tractors, mowers, etc.

Knowledge and experience managing a Water Treatment Facility
