Position Highlights
We currently have an exciting full-time opportunity as an Evaluation Lead to join our Virtual Health Department.

As a Lead, you will provide leadership in the evaluation of program service and design for Virtual Health programs and initiatives including our Virtual Hospital and Heart Failure Remote Patient Monitoring programs.

We are currently recruiting for a
relief full-time opportunity available until April 2025. This position will primarily be
remote with an office located at
Central City in
Surrey,
BC. An ideal location with access to rapid transit, on site-gym and shopping services as well as other amenities.
This role is hybrid.

Additionally in this role, you will build on your education and career experience as you:

  • Serve as the evaluation lead for various programs and initiatives related to Fraser Health Strategic Priorities requiring evaluation services, including a focus on Virtual Health, by planning, coordinating, and implementing program evaluations.
  • Conduct assessments for feasibility of planning and evaluations by engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including the senior leadership, local governments, and community organizations.
  • Recommend changes to programs, delivery of care and impacts on services and staff resources.
  • Review initiatives in development and already underway and work with program leads to develop an overarching evaluation plan, in collaboration with expertise within and external to FH.
  • Work in partnership with FH program evaluators to both align and maintain alignment between other health authorities, program and local community goals, objectives, measurement methods, and indicators, to ensure benefits realization through successful implementation of program (vertical) and continuum (horizontal) based initiatives in all phases, such as the plan, design, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develop evaluation plans by reviewing evidencebased literature, identifying stakeholders, developing logic models, identifying meaningful key performance indicators for structure, process, and outcomes, developing the research design and data collection methods, specifying data collection instruments, and developing data analysis plans for both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Conduct/coordinate the implementation of the evaluation plan and analysis of data. Provide regular progress reports as needed and requested.
  • Synthesize and interpret data, develop written reports and presentations with stakeholder input, and present final results to stakeholders as required.
  • Participate in planning and implementing learning sessions within FH and other health authorities, as appropriate.
  • Ensure evaluation program compliance with FH Privacy policies.
  • Participate on regional committees and attend meetings to provide support, guidance, findings and evaluation information, and expertise to others undertaking evaluation processes.

We would like you to have:

  • Master's degree in a health related field, statistics, social science, economics, or business management including course work in evaluation design and qualitative and quantitative analysis, with a strong academic background in research methodology.
  • Five (5) years recent, related experience working in a health care environment.
