ABOUT THE ROLE

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Provide building maintenance support to multiple sites such as clinics and pharmacies
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance services and repairs pertaining the buildings and related equipment
  • Ensure the safe and proper operation, cleaning and maintenance routines of all assigned locations
  • Ensure effective use of utilities (hydro, water, gas and sewer systems)
  • Manage the upkeep of facilities and equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards
  • Assist in preparedness for onsite inspections, relating to Health and Safety
  • Assist with any basic IT set ups
  • Respond to incoming facility related work requests in a timely and coordinated manner to ensure an exceptional employee and client experience in all assigned Bayshore facilities
  • Monitor service providers and contractors' deliverables in accordance with contract specifications to ensure satisfactory delivery of scope of services
  • Assist with the moving and set up of any new clinics
  • Provide hazardous waste management
  • Ensures all codes and standards for building maintenance are upheld and safety standards are met
Job Qualification


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • 45 years of experience in a similar facilities or property maintenance role
  • Experience supporting and managing multiple sites
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to foster a positive working relationship between members within the department and across the clinic locations
  • Bilingual (French/English)
