This is an exciting role within a Casino Environment where you will use your strong customer service background, verbal communication and interpersonal skills to respond to client inquiries and requests.
In providing this support you will:
- Educate casino guests regarding the three core concepts of gambling to encourage safe play and prevent problem play and over expenditure.
- Assess the needs of visitor to determine appropriate course of action.
- Deliver problem gambling staff training to casino staff as required at all levels
- Plan appropriate intervention strategies for guests exhibiting problem gambling behaviors by consulting with casino staff and other appropriate professionals
- Assist any individuals who phone or visit the casino with concerns about a family member who may be having difficulty with gambling.
- Investigate current community resources on a provincial bases and shares information with colleagues
- Assist in developing and maintaining a resource library of gambling related material
Where permitted by law, company employees must be fully immunized to access a TELUS Health or LifeWorks office or customer premises.
