SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Community Liaison is responsible for managing and organizing the shuttle patrons and shuttle stop area during high volume periods.

The core responsibility is to answer guest questions, keep shuttle stops tidy, organize shuttle lines and priority where necessary, and enforce parking rules at Parkgate Community centre/Library and surrounding areas.

THIS POSITION IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
Outgoing and friendly with a pleasant and professional demeanor.

Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and openly with guests, co-workers and supervisors.

Comfortable working outdoors

Ability to work effectively with little supervision

Strong problem solving and decision making skills

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:

To provide guests with up to date shuttle information, including next bus, schedule, and cost (if applicable)

To set up/tear down and properly store line stanchions, Mt Seymour tent, and other related supplies

To maintain radio/phone contact with base for up to date shuttle information

To answer any guest questions related to status of operations, conditions, daily activities, special events, Mt Seymour facilities and products, and other facilities near the shuttle stop.

To enforce the parking rules and provide alternative locations, including NO Mt Seymour patron parking within the Parkgate lots

Organize shuttle line ups and assist with offload/upload

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Seasonal position, December through to mid-April.

Hourly wage.

Complimentary season pass and shuttle bus pass.
