About the Role:

As the Head of Finance, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing the Finance organization at Behavox, ensuring the effectiveness of existing financial processes and systems while implementing new ones to support the company's continued growth.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be working closely with the CEO and the COO on analyzing financial results and projections produced by your team in order to determine the optimal strategy for future investments, liquidity management and capital financing.

Additionally, you will work in partnership with the Operations team to integrate operational and financial metrics, providing visibility into the returns generated by our investments.

Simultaneously, you will instill financial discipline across the organization, ensuring fiscal responsibility remains a top priority at all times.

In this role, you will have an oversight of the Finance Operations team responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll management.

You will be responsible for Accounting Operations, overseeing financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

You will also lead our Tax Management efforts to ensure our compliance with tax laws and regulations across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Singapore and Japan.

What You'll Bring:

A deep and genuine interest in Behavox as demonstrated by a connection to its mission, marketplace and/or technologies
10+ years of experience in Finance, with 5+ years of experience in leading geographically distributed Finance teams in Software sector
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; professional qualifications such as CFA/ACCA/CPA or their equivalents
FP&A experience that involved developing a detailed understanding of how various parts of the business function
Highly developed skills in fiscally responsible management of finances, constantly seeking out costsaving opportunities as well as implementing and enforcing robust cost controls
Experience in building out Finance processes using automation software and implementing Finance systems

What You'll Do:

Run FP&A including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support the decisionmaking process of the CEO and the executive team
Manage the accounting, oversee financial reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations across multiple jurisdictions
Lead tax management in a company with a global footprint ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, along with managing tax filings and payments, and providing advice on tax strategy
Manage Finance Operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll management
Communicate confidently and clearly with the Board of Directors, institutional shareholders and potential investors on company's finances and the performance of the business to support and explain the Company narrative
