Emelle's Catering is looking for delivery drivers to join our team

We are looking for

  • Part time 1015 hours per week
  • Full time 3040 hours per week
  • Evenings & Weekends

Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities:


  • Delivers foods to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Client facing position
- establishing and maintaining outstanding relations with customers.

  • Contacts customers to confirm delivery details & access when necessary.
  • Follows safety and lifting protocols during deliveries and conducts safety reviews.
  • Maintains daily delivery logs and records.
  • Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
  • Reviews and verifies packing list to ensure accuracy.

Delivery Driver Skills / Qualifications:


  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods, and routes an asset.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:


  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving large cargo van or similar

Daily tasks:


  • Review daily schedule.
  • Pack and prepare orders for departure.
  • Put away equipment following delivery
  • Pack new orders & events
  • Maintain van, clean, gas and empty as necessary
  • Stay up to date on inventory levels

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Part-time hours: 10-40 per week


Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
