The faculty is home to 550 undergraduates, 50 graduate students, and a community of 5,279 living alumni.

With 65 faculty and staff, 487 preceptors based in 66 communities, and significant collaboration across the university, the faculty works to support the profession through a focus on excellence in teaching and research across all aspects of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences.


The Faculty offers the following programs to students:

_Entry to Practice Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), PharmD for Practicing Pharmacists, Master of Business Administration and Doctor or Pharmacy (Combined Degrees), MSc and PhD, and a Certificate to Canadian Pharmacy Practice.

Reporting to the Vice-Provost and College Dean, College of Health Sciences, the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences will work with a team of two Associate Deans and is responsible for the leadership and administration of all aspects of the operations of the Faculty, including budget and fund development.

In addition to the role of senior officer of the Faculty, and a member of Deans' Council, the Dean is a senior administrator of the University.

The Dean fosters an environment in which world-leading research and excellence in teaching and engaged scholarship flourish.

As the face of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Dean is champion of curricular initiatives, research, and scholarship, professional training, global outreach, and recruitment of high-quality faculty and student talent.
