    Overview

    As a Route Sales Representative, you have two main responsibilities: (1) growing the business through sales and (2) ensuring customer satisfaction through delivery and merchandising. Your role involves expanding a snack foods business within specific retail outlets such as grocery, gas stations, and convenience stores.

    Responsibilities

    Key Tasks:

    • Identifying evolving customer preferences by regularly analyzing top-selling products and communicating with store managers
    • Developing assigned accounts in terms of sales volume, market share, product placement, shelf space, and customer service goals
    • Implementing national and local promotions, securing additional marketing materials, setting up product displays, and managing inventory to meet customer demand
    • Maintaining balanced product inventory and ensuring freshness for customers
    • Engaging in hands-on tasks such as arranging product displays, increasing shelf space, handling returns, managing inventory, and maintaining shelf cleanliness
    Qualifications

    Preferred Candidate:

    • High school diploma required, higher education is a plus
    • Valid G driver's license or equivalent
    • Access to a reliable vehicle with a clean driving record
    • Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays
    • Prior sales experience in consumer-packaged goods or retail sector is desirable
    • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and meet goals
    • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities
