The Opportunity


Terra is seeking a full-time Administrative and Marketing Coordinator who will work alongside the students and educators and ensure the daily operations of the school.

The Role
As the Administrative Coordinator and Marketing Assistant, you will:

  • Develop a strong understanding of Terra's school culture, and what sets us apart from other early learning centers.
  • Foster warm and trusting relationships with families and community members.
  • Connect and engage in collaborative partnerships with fellow educators, colleagues, leaders, families, and the greater community.
  • Manage student and staff onboarding processes such as creating and sending letters and organize uniform fittings.
  • Host virtual and inperson tours with interested families
  • Support and communicate with educators, principal, and team in maintaining and updating school processes and procedures.
  • Provide administration duties in the office by establishing and maintaining employee, student, and business files and records, processing invoices, and receiving incoming mail and phone calls.
  • Manage and calculate expenses, budgets, and tuition, including managing benefits.
  • Set up and maintain office systems including ordering supplies and keeping track of inventory.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors
  • Content creation and curation for selected social media channels, development and management.
  • Track and log social media insights and analytics regularly, engaging and responding with our social media community in a timely manner, and creating, editing and producing digital and video production.
  • Support the organization of events to promote the school by identifying, assembling and coordinating requirements.
  • Coordinate, support, and organize staff and community events.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities where necessary.

The Qualifications

As the Administrative and Marketing Coordinator, you have:

  • Strong communication skills; verbal and written in English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Have a passion for building and maintaining relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • Possesses good time management skills and has the ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Highly resourceful teamplayer, with the ability to work independently.
  • A passion for people and strong ability to build authentic and trusting relationships with all community members.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and is resultsoriented.
  • Embodies a growth mindset, recognizing opportunities for learning and growth daily.
  • Experience working with children and in an administrative role is an asset.
  • Experience with social media management and Red App is an asset.

Commitment

  • 40 hours per week
