HR Generalist - Part-time Hamilton
We are a longstanding brush manufacturing company based in Hamilton, ON.

As such, we have solidified ourselves as a trusted supplier to the aerospace, automotive, and metalworking industries. We are looking for a Part-Time HR Generalist to join the team. The desire is for a long-term permanent part-time with 2-3 days at the office with room for some flexibility.Job Description Points:
- Maintain and update HR records, including employee files, time and attendance records, and other HR data
- Act as a resource to employees, providing guidance and support on HRrelated matters, policies, and procedures.
- Help to develop and drive a highperformance and connected work culture; ensure that decisions and processes are aligned with culture and core beliefs.
- Develop and manage HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of all related Company policies and employment legislation (i.e., Employment Standards, Workplace Safety, and enforce adherence to requirements; advise managers/supervisors on a needed basis.
- Recruitment & Employee Onboarding for office and production hires
- Manage and oversee employee benefits administration.
- Other HRrelated projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- University degree/ College diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- CHRP is considered an asset.
- At least 34yrs experience as an HR Generalist
- Desire for longterm permanent parttime employment; based on 23 days per week in the office.
- Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing sectors is preferred, and interest or prior experience in Policy and Procedure development is strongly desired.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and problemsolving skills
- Positive & strong work ethic that acts as a role model to all team members.
