Description:
Responsibilities will principally include attending on the cardiology ward and in-patient consult service as well as providing specific consultative support to cardiac surgery and vascular surgery patients.
The successful applicant will join the Division of Cardiology which is one of the largest divisions within the Department of Medicine with 20 full-time and 21 part-time community cardiologists.
As a major provider of tertiary and quaternary cardiac services and leader in less invasive structural heart interventions, the Division of Cardiology serves as a regional cardiac referral center for many complex cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities will include excellence in clinical care of both in-patients and out-patients, liaison with primary care, supervision of trainees in clinical care setting, formal teaching and scholarly achievements.
