The Operations Assistant provides support to the administrators by performing a variety of tasks to ensure seamless organization of the school.

Functions include scheduling, timetabling, preparing monthly reports, administering the school basic budget or school generated funds, and other administrative duties.

The Operations Assistant monitors daily staff absences, the scheduling of supply teachers and the verification of information in the computer attendance system.


Qualifications:


Preferred:
Knowledge of Simcoe County District School Board Policies and Administrative Procedures Memoranda, and Numbered Memoranda. Demonstrated knowledge of board approved software, e.g. EasyConnect, , Powerscheduler, JDEdwards, PowerSchool student information system. Knowledge of basic office and accounting procedures. Previous experience working in a school environment.

Testing may be required during the selection process.
