What you'll be doing


The Director, Portfolio Management & Rates Solutions drives solution enablement for a High-quality liquid asset portfolio and interest rate management; ensuring that technology, processes and reports are in place to drive active discussions and insights to ensure optimal alignment with desired strategies.

The Director bring insights forward and participates actively in portfolio design, measurement and strategy within the HQLA portfolio; bringing proposals, ideas and potential opportunities to maximize liquidity cost recovery within established risk appetite and resources.

How you'll succeed

  • Relationship Building
  • Working with Senior Director, Rates & Portfolio Solutions & VP, Hedge Execution design requirements for reporting and insights to drive investment portfolio decision making.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Communicate findings effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Business Controls
  • Under the direction of senior team members, support businessrelated controls initiatives such as the regular updates to desk Policies and Procedures, development of taskspecific process documentation, annual Risk and Controls Self-Assessment, records retention, internal audit, compliance, and other duties
  • Ad Hoc/ Trading Support
  • Maintain and improve the desk's position management and trading tools to enhance the capabilities for timely risk and P&L analysis
  • Strategy Development: Lead the monthly and quarterly treasurymanaged portfolio construction and mandate allocations given balance sheet forecasts for HQLA needs from the official Funding Plan and latest estimates thereof
  • Rates and Performance Analysis
  • Generate daily Front Office Same Day Estimate for performance (SDE for both current period P&L and change in costtoclose for Economic Revenue) arising from the assigned risk exposures and position management activities under the supervision and direction of senior team members
