What you'll do


The Product Manager will work with stakeholders to fully understand our business goals and users' needs and use this knowledge to drive improvements and growth in a defined product area.


We are a hybrid office, with team members working remotely and in the office. This role requires some availability to come into our Vancouver office and work during the Pacific Standard Time zone business hours.

Your responsibilities

  • Work closely with business leaders to understand the product vision and market
  • Liaise with research and support teams to understand users' needs, behaviours, and pain points
  • Identify product enhancements to achieve business outcomes and improve user experiences
  • Be the expert on our products and customers
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap for your product area
  • Write product requirements and conduct reviews with stakeholders
  • Oversee and contribute to breaking down initiatives into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria and reviewing them with design and delivery teams to ensure a shared understanding
  • Work with design and delivery teams to understand implementation efforts and mitigate risks
  • Conduct acceptance testing to ensure delivered features meet requirements and are ready for release
  • Set KPIs, collect and monitor data to assess feature usage, and derive insights to drive product planning
  • Work with marketing and support teams to develop launch plans
  • Stay informed of market trends and competitor offerings to ensure our product is competitive and relevant

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical skills and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a strategic product planning role
  • English language proficiency
  • Proactive and precise written and verbal communication to a variety of audiences
  • A "people person" who takes the initiative and collaborates effectively with crossfunctional teams
  • A selfstarter with good instincts, strong time management skills, followthrough and drive
  • A naturally curious person who is eager to learn and invests time in understanding concepts
  • Good analytical and problemsolving skills, strong attention to detail, and comfortable sorting through data and using it to make datadriven decisions
  • Available for morning and occasional evening meetings (Pacific time) with our Indiabased engineering teams

Bonus points

  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience working in a software development or QA role
  • Handson experience with Confluence and Jira
  • Experience with product management tools like ProductPlan, Productboard or Aha
  • Knowledge of userengagement tools, such as Pendo or FullStory
