    BLG's Environmental, Municipal, Expropriation and Regulatory Group (EMER) is home to many of Canada's most highly recognized environmental, municipal, expropriation, and regulatory lawyers.

    We are looking for

    The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of litigation experience in environmental, municipal, expropriation, regulatory, insurance and / or general civil or commercial disputes. In particular, the ideal candidate will have experience:

    • Advising and representing clients in civil disputes, including in legal proceedings before the British Columbia and Federal courts, various administrative tribunals, and in commercial arbitration proceedings.
    • Advising and representing clients in environmental, natural resource, and transportation-related matters.
    • Advising and representing clients in insurance, health and privacy related matters.

    Compensation is commensurate with experience and year of call. The base annual salary range for candidates with the required experience for this role is $137,000 to $190,000.
