Summary
The Location Manager is responsible for overseeing their designated camp location and its team.

This role serves as the primary point of contact for campers, staff, and parents, with a primary focus on ensuring the satisfaction of campers and parents.

The Location Manager is committed to maintaining the seamless operation of the camp and is actively involved in pre-camp preparations, program coordination, and staff management.

Hours: Monday -Friday (hours varying on location)

Responsibilities

Off Season_:_

  • Participate in mandatory management trainings.
  • Attend the mandatory yearly retreat.
  • Assist in planning and organizing camp programming and scheduling.
  • Actively engage in recruitment events to attract staff.
  • Contribute to precamp preparations to ensure a successful camp season.

On Season_:_

  • Manage and provide guidance to camp staff.
  • Conduct staff evaluations and provide feedback.
  • Fill out all required paperwork and reports, Operational and HR.
  • Establish and maintain a daily schedule (7:00 am 3:00 pm or 10:00 am 6:00 pm).
  • Maintain regular communication with the Regional Manager to ensure the camp operates smoothly.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Support team to manage payments.
  • Oversee weekly inventory management at the camp location.
  • Report any concerns or incidents to the Regional Manager promptly.
  • Offer toptier customer service by being the primary point of contact for parents, addressing concerns, and responding to inquiries.
  • Ensure a safe environment for both staff and campers.
  • Hold weekly staff meetings to maintain effective communication.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the camp location.
  • Approve employee timesheets.
  • Supervise and oversee daily camp activities.
  • Provide necessary resources and support to camp counselors throughout the day.

Qualifications

  • Experience in camp management and/or related roles.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Google Drive.
  • Exceptional communication,management, and leadership skills.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is considered an asset.

Schedule and Job Type

  • Part-Time for Off-Season, Full-Time for On-Season
  • Part-Time for trainings depending on camp worked

  • Winter Break Camp: January

  • March Break Camp: March
  • March 8, 202
  • Summer Break Camp: June 2

Job Type:

Salary:
$18.50-$21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
